Preparing for the flood

CIT undertook significant work to prepare for the high river levels that impacted the region recently. CIT staff took action to minimise the impacts as much as possible. Works included blocking of drains, moving electrical connections at pump stations, and sealing pump station infrastructure where possible. At the Moorook Pump Station, pictured, a levy bank was constructed to protect the infrastructure at that location.
